Content Guidelines

What these guidelines cover

These guidelines apply to everything you submit to lyp.al — business listings, reviews, ratings, images, and messages. They supplement the Terms of Use.

Acceptable use

Do:

• Provide accurate, first-hand information about businesses.
• Write reviews based on your own genuine experience.

Do not:

• Post unlawful, hateful, harassing, or deceptive content.
• Impersonate a business or another person.
• Post spam, advertising, or content you were paid to place without disclosure.
• Submit content that infringes someone else's rights.

Reviews

Reviews must reflect a real, first-hand experience with the business. We prohibit fake, purchased, incentivised, or retaliatory reviews.

How we handle review authenticity

We do not currently guarantee that every reviewer is a verified customer of the business. We take reasonable steps to detect and remove reviews that appear to be fake or manipulated, and businesses and users can report suspicious reviews via the notice-and-action channel. This disclosure is provided in line with consumer-protection rules on the transparency of reviews.

Enforcement

We may remove content or restrict accounts that breach these guidelines. Serious or repeated breaches may result in account suspension. You can appeal a decision through the contact channel.
